Tiout And Taroudant Day Trip. Take this excursion, to explore the 16th-century capital of the Saadian Empire. A gentle drive through the souss plain -with a quick stop on the way to spot the flying goats on Argan tree- will bring us to the ancient walled city of Taroudant, a very friendly Berber village overlooked by the high atlas mountains.
After a quick visit to Taroudant's small traditional souk and a short climb to the fortified ramparts, that reveals the true beauty of the surrounding countryside, we will drive to the Oasis and the Kasbah (fortress) of Tiout, where a very tasty lunch awaits us.
After lunch break, it will be the right time to stroll through the palm trees on a donkey ride and around the Kasbah where the movie of Ali Baba and 40 thieves was filmed in the 50s.

We were guided by Momo around the city. It was a really nice stoll with him. We saw a lot more than we would have on our own. He adapt to our pace and our taste, skipping or lenghting time on some spots. We meet great and friendly people thanks to him. He took the time to answer all our questions and to share Morrocco with us. We are really gratheful to him ! We met him in scooter and wave goodbye to him again on his scooter smiling.
