Itinerary – 3-Day Mount Toubkal Trek
Day 1: Marrakech → Imlil → Tamsoult Hut
We collect you at 09:00 from your Marrakech hotel or riad for a 90-minute drive to Imlil (1,740m). Meet your licensed mountain guide and mule team, then start your hike over Tizi n’Mzik Pass (2,489m) with stunning views of the Azzaden Valley. Stop for a picnic lunch in the forest, then continue through Tamssoulte village to your hut (2,250m) for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Tamsoult → Aguelzim Pass → Toubkal Refuge
After breakfast, trek past the Ighouliden waterfalls before climbing to Aguelzim Pass (3,560m) for panoramic High Atlas views. Stop for lunch, then descend to the Toubkal Mountain Refuge for your overnight stay. In summer, you may camp under the stars if weather allows.
Day 3: Toubkal Summit → Imlil → Marrakech
We start early for the Toubkal summit trek. Reaching 4,167 meters, you’ll enjoy one of the best views in Morocco – mountains stretching for miles and the Sahara in the distance. After celebrating your climb, descend to the refuge for lunch, then continue to Imlil for your transfer back to Marrakech.
